Slot missions are a great way to obtain weapons, equipment and more. They're hard to complete.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot allows you to bring pistols into a mission. Some players utilize this slot to achieve certain goals and targets, particularly those who want to go for Suit Only. Some prefer having the additional pistol to make an extra weapon to close the gap. It's important to remember that in order to select the pistols that belong in this slot, you need to click on the button to select the appropriate category, such as alternate slot 2 machine guns. Major Expedition and Adept Rider are active, which makes it easier to use. This combo also gives you damage from Concealed Weapon every 10 seconds so long as you have it placed in.

Slot for Smuggled Items

The smuggled item slot is an excellent option for allowing players to bring tools and weapons, but it could use a better option. It's currently shaped like a pistol, which makes it difficult to differentiate the smuggled weapon slot from other gear slots.

The smuggle slot can house a large variety of items, ranging from small concussion devices to weapons-grade explosives. These items are hidden in locations around the map. They can also be retrieved at any time. The items that are smuggled differ from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes which conceal small objects in scenery and objects.

Mission planning is a function available in short-term missions that allow players to gain access to different starting points as well as smuggled items and gear slots ahead of their entry into the map. The options for planning increase as players complete challenges and obtain higher Mission Mastery levels. This gives players the ability to create the perfect mission for every task.

Gear Slot

Early on in the game players will find their gear slots quickly become full, resulting in the frequently-repeated "Your Gear fun slots are Full" message, which blocks Max from picking new equipment until old items are cleared or more space is obtained. The solution to this issue is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which provide more inventory space in exchange for the completion of challenge missions. However, since many of these challenges are scattered throughout the world and can be overlooked, it may take an extended time to obtain the largest amount of inventory slots available in-game.

Each player can have up to five different types of gear in their five Gear Slots. They must be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to the break-in. Each gear item (except for the Pistol), takes up one Gear Slot, while a grouping of similar items (such as a grouping of Grenades) only uses one Gear Slot.

Pickups by agencies

As you progress in Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups throughout the map. These locations allow you to store items that do not fit in your weapon or gear slots, and retrieve them later.

These pickups are particularly useful if you have to go through a frisk at the end of the mission, or if you are carrying a weapon that might otherwise be suspect. But, you are only able to conceal one item per game at a pickup location for agencies.

This DLC adds new contracts to asset protection and security to the agency. To start these missions, simply contact the receptionist at the agency and stock up on armor and snacks. Then, go to the stated mission marker and spot a group upon arrival.
